The Animal Health Trust is a centre of excellence dedicated to improving the health and welfare of horses, dogs and cats. Located at Kentford, nr Newmarket, it has two clinics - one for horses and the second for dogs and cats. It provides specialist referral services to the veterinary profession.
The Trust is currently working with the Suffolk Horse Society to safeguard the health of the iconic local breed, the Suffolk Punch.
The Animal Health Trust's Gala Raceday is a major fundraising event for the charity and attracts supporters and donors across a wide area. Three major items will be auctioned for lunch guests, a silent auction will be held throughout the afternoon in which all race-goers an take part plus a prize draw for a jeroboam of champagne.
Racing starts at 1.50pm and the card includes the Group 3 Criterion Stakes. |
