Horseracing Museum
This award-winning museum tells the story of racing through
its permanent collections. These feature the horses, people,
events and scandals that have made horseracing so colourful.
Highlights include the head of Persimmon and the skeleton of Eclipse, ancestor of 90%
of modern day thoroughbreds. There's a special display about Fred Archer; items associated with Red Rum,
Lester Piggott, Frankie Dettori and other heroes of the turf.

Exhibitions for 2010
Thoroughbred - State of the Art
From early portraits to the splendour of Stubbs and the vibrant
imagery of Munnings, this exhibition demonstrates the irresistible
appeal of the thoroughbred to generations of artists.
British Sporting Art
The British Sporting Art Trust brings together a collection of sporting
art for public exhibition and promotion of interest in the subject.
Among the highlights - boxing, fishing, rugby, hunting and horseracing.
