Horseracing Museum
This award-winning museum tells the story of racing through
its permanent collections. These feature the horses, people,
events and scandals that have made horseracing so colourful.
Highlights include the head of Persimmon and the skeleton of Eclipse, ancestor of 90%
of modern day thoroughbreds. There's a special display about Fred Archer; items associated with Red Rum,
Lester Piggott, Frankie Dettori and other heroes of the turf.

'The Heath and the Horse'
Tues March 1- until Sun. October 30.

This year's exhibition explores Newmarket's world-famous Heath and training gallops. There are 4,000 acres of managed landscape including areas of Special Scientific Interest.
See the role of Jockey Club Estates; how training methods have changed; the impact of urbanisation and the ecology of the Heath itself.
British Sporting Art Trust Exhibition
'Man's Best Friend: Dogs and Hounds of Field and Show'
High quality pictures and bronzes depict 'man's best friend' over 300-years. Included are works by important artists like Stubbs, Wootton, Emms and Munnings.
